The 8th Roundtable of National Association “Business for Healthy Society” was held on December 1 in Moscow. The roundtable, devoted to WAD and Russian companies’ engagement, was hosted by Mercedes-Benz Russia and its CEO Jurgen Zauer, co-chair of the Association. The meeting was co-lead by another co-chair of the Association Sergey Litovchenko, executive director of Russian Managers Association

04.24.2010 History of HIV/AIDS In Posters
Exhibition "HIV/AIDS. History in Posters" opened in the city of Orel. The exhibition consists of 20 posters created in different years since the beginning of the HIV epidemic. The oldest poster, presented in the exhibition, was designed in Great Britain in 1984.
12.22.2009 HEALTH@WORK HIV Prevention Model is Replicated in Belarus
GBC expert, Dr. Tatiana Grechanaia shared experience of HEALTH@WORK Program implementation in Russia and Ukraine during a roundtable in Minsk, Belarus. The round table was held in the framework of the workplace HIV/AIDS prevention project started in November 2009.
12.15.2009 Capacity Building of Companies’ Medical Advisors on Risky Behaviors Change
On December 15-17, GBC held its HEALTH@WORK Program Module for Occupational Health Specialists on Risky behaviors Change to Prevent harmful consequences of alcohol and drug abuse, including HIV infection. The training lasted three days and gathered occupational health specialists and medical advisors

10.07.2009 Natalya Podogova participated in the HIV Conference of Central Asian states and Azerbaijan
Natalya Podogova, the Chairman of the Board of the Charitable Foundation for support of priority strategies in public health, participated in 4th Inter-Parliamentary HIV Conference in Bishkek. The conference covers the legislative securing of anti-HIV measures and the priorities of inter-regional collaboration.

In September 2009, Mercedes-Benz has published its own version of the GBC’s well-received publication “Facts about HIV and AIDS”. The booklets were distributed to employees together with the corporate newspaper “Mercedes-Benz Messenger”
