Russian Media Partnership’s video public service announcement “Pool” won the third prize of the AIDS Video Clip Contest „Clip & klar Europe 09“ within the Category “Best National T.V. and Social Advertisement Campaign against AIDS”. The event was organized within the framework of the 12th European AIDS-Conference (EACS) and under the patronage of Eva Luise Köhler, spouse of German Federal President. German Federal Centre for Health Education hosted the contest.
The event took place at the Cologne Convention Centre on November 12. Six prizes were awarded in two categories: “Best National T.V. and Social Advertisement Campaign against AIDS” and “Best AIDS Video Clip by a Filmmaker or Film Student”. There were also a panel discussion which took place during the event with representatives from the AIDS-Prevention fields as well as the European film and media scene.
Dr. Eveline Maslon from the Federal Centre for Health Education accepted the award on behalf of the Russian Media Partnership to Combat HIV/AIDS (on the photo).
